Nigella. Love in a Mist. Black Sesame

Very delicate, star like  flowers , mainly in blue, some white and pink.  Ferny foliage. The seed  pods are ornamental and used in floral work and the seeds used as a substitute for poppy or sesame seeds  in cooking. especially found on Turkish bread.

It is a fast growing annual, flowering in late spring. It likes semi shade and well drained soil and leafy mulch. best sown direct autumn or spring.
