Description

A tasty root vegetable, uniform shape, smooth skin and easy to grow.  Sow in autumn and grow over winter in warmer areas. Germination can be slow, as for carrots, up to 3 weeks, and the soil must be kept moist till plants come though.  If parsnips like your garden, you will find them self sowing in strange places in future years, they are nor fussy about soil, but like good drainage and need good depth of soil.
