Uncle Dick’s Turnip

A Rutabaga type of turnip, best grown over winter for spring harvest.  Sow in January/ February or March. This variety was developed by Dick Smithson of Beaufort in Victoria. It has a cream root with greenish collar. Texture is never woody and  always sweet. Local heirloom variety.
